A night's Stroll

-Walkthrough-

Walkthrough by Nightwalker

Difficulty - Expert

You start in the graveyard where the last mission ended. There is a letter on the ground in front of you. Pick it up and read it, look behind one of the tombs for a small statue, worth 15g., then frob a wall torch in the corner to open a secret exit. Once you go through it, you'll be in a grassy area with 2 burricks. In the far left corner, there's a gold nugget, worth 100g. (115). After you pick it up, crawl into the tunnel (beside the stationary burrick) and follow it to a park. To the left, there is a pond and on the bottom, there's a water arrow. Just past the pond, there's a gold nugget, worth 100g.(215), sitting in a bush. There is also a tunnel over here. Crawl through and you'll be in the grounds of Lord Ashton's Hunting Lodge.

Lord Ashton's Hunting Lodge

Go over to the bathroom, at this end of the building and inside, you'll be able to frob a mat. It moves to expose the "Hunting Lodge" key. Pick it up and also, grab the tiara, worth 200g. (415), that is sitting in the sink. Go around the back of the house to avoid the guards in the courtyard and up to the front courtyard of the building. Unlock the door to the left cabin with the key you found and go in. Pick up a gold candlestick, worth 50g. (465), and a pack of cigarettes, worth 5g. (470), in the sitting room. Outside again, cross the courtyard to the opposite cabin, unlock the door with the key and go in. Pick up 2 candlesticks, worth 100g.(570), on the mantel, then leave and go to the main lodge doors. Read the notice posted beside them, which says that Lord Ashton's daughter, Lady Carla, lost her precious ring on her last walk. That's something to keep an eye out for. Unlock the doors with the key and go in. On the shelves behind the bar, you'll find plates, worth 50g. (620), gold bottles, worth 600g. (1220), and cups, worth 255g. (1475). Under the bar, there's a drill bit, worth 250g. (1725), and a nugget, worth 100g. (1825). On the fireplace mantel, there are 2 candlesticks, worth 100g. (1925), and on the table, there 2 bottles, worth 100g. (2025). Rope arrow up to the ceiling beam and on it, you'll find the "Rosary Beads" that you need to steal to complete an objective. Leave by the same tunnel that you entered and check the pool again. If you look carefully, you'll see a tiny ring, worth 100g. (2125), sitting on the bottom. You've found Lady Carla's ring! Continue walking past the pond and you'll pass the gates to Lord Ashton's hunting lodge on your left. At the far end of this area, you'll see a Pagan standing by a fire. Steal his purse, which is worth 100g. (2225). To your right, there is a tunnel hidden behind a vine. Go through this to Lord Bufford's Hunting Lodge.

Lord Bufford's Hunting Lodge

You need to steal a painting in here. Go past the front entrance and follow the clearing around to an area where there are more burricks patrolling. You'll find a silver nugget, worth 50g. (2275), in a plant. Watch the wall on your right for a tunnel concealed behind some rocks. Crawl through and into Lord Bufford's property. Jump in the pond and pick up 3 water arrows, then climb out and go to your left around the building. Pick the "Bufford's" key from the guard out front. Use it to unlock the single door in the front of the building and you'll find a bedroom. On the table, there is a statue, worth 15g. (2290). Pick it up, rope arrow up and look for a purse, worth 100g. (2390), on top of the wall above the bed, then go back out and unlock the double doors. This takes you into the main room of the Lodge. Pick up the Painting on the right wall to tick off an objective, then pick open the blue chest to find some flashbombs and look in the fireplace to find some firearrows. Take the gold hammer, worth 75g. (2465), and leave. Open the gate to the park with the Bufford's key, turn right and go all the way to the very end. You'll find another small tunnel here.

Town Square

Crawl through and you'll end up in an open area with a wagon and, farther down, a walkway. There's a guard standing on the walkway in front of a tunnel entrance. Go down the tunnel and you'll find a package of cigarettes, worth 5g. (2470). Go back out to the open area and follow the path to an archway with an archer standing guard. He's wearing a purse, worth 100g. (2570). Take it and continue on, keeping a watch out for a patrolling guard that is wearing a red pouch. It's worth 5g. (2575). Continue on through the next archway and you'll be in the town square. Go into the Ladies Bathroom, to your left, and look on the second sink for a tiny, gold ring, worth 100g. (2675), then head across to the Men's Bathroom, where you can pick up a coin, worth 20g. (2695), lying on the floor below the sink. Back out in the square, the next set doors to the Armour shop, but the doors don't pick open, so that come back to these later. Go up to the corner, turn right and pick open the door on the right. It leads to the back alley behind the Armour shop. Look behind the barrels in the corner to find a gold nugget, worth 100g. (2795), and farther down the alley, you'll find 2 gas arrows floating in the air. Go back to the street and open the next door, which leads to a storage room. Open the chest and you'll pick up 12g. (2807). The other door on this street doesn't pick open either. Go back out to the square and to your right, there is a Apothecary's shop. The front doors don't open, but walk around a bit farther and you'll see a tempting second story window with a beam sticking out over it. Rope arrow up and jump in. You will find 3 coins, worth 60g. (2867), lying on the floor underneath a bedroll and some potions sitting on a shelf. Take them and then climb down the ladder. The man behind the counter has a silver key and, under the counter, you'll find a crystal, worth 25g. (2892), and a cash box, containing 100g. (2992). On top of the wall shelves, there is a slow-fall potion and an invisibility potion. Use the key to open the metal door and go back out to the square. Head back to the door that you couldn't unlock before at the back of the Apothecary building and it will unlock with the same key. In the sitting room, you'll find a candlestick, worth 50g. (3042), sitting on the mantel and 2 masks, worth 100g. (3142), hung on the wall above the fireplace. In the bedroom, on the floor beside the bed, you will find a purse, worth 100g. (3242), and, in the kitchen you'll find a spice bag, worth 40g. (3282), and a plate, worth 10g. (3292). Leave here, go back past the Apothecary Shop to the gate in the wall. Pick open the gate or climb over the wall and go into the garden. In the back corner, behind some trees, there's a torch holder. Frob it and the door in the wall will open. Go in, climb down the ladder and into the torture chamber. There's a purse, worth 100g. (3392), sitting on the table. Pick it up, then frob the manacles hanging on the east wall to move the Iron Maiden case, so you can see the Serpentile Torc. Pick it up to complete an objective. Climb back up, go out of the gate and across the square to the Dairy, where you'll see a notice saying they're closed. Go to the next wood door and pick it open. It leads to the back garden of the Dairy and there is a window you can pick open. Climb inside and you'll find two chests. Inside one of the chests, which you can pick open, you'll find coinstacks, worth 25g. (3417). Leave and go to the next building, which is the Grocers. There are 2 women in the shop. The older one is wearing a purse, worth 100g. (3517). Pick up the healing fruit on the counter, then flip the lever behind the counter to move the painting on the wall. In the cupboard behind it, you'll find 4 spice bags, worth 160g. (3677), and 3 silver coinstacks, worth 36g. (3713). In the kitchen, you'll find a plate, worth 10g. (3723), a dish, worth 100g. (3823), and in the bedroom, you'll find a small ring, worth 100g. (3923), on the table. The next shop on the square is the Butcher's shop. Pick open the door and go in. There's a safe in the back of the counter that you can pick open. Inside there are 2 purses, worth 200g. (4123), and 3 coinstacks, worth 55g. (4178). In the bedroom, there's a statue, worth 15g. (4193), on the table. Go back out the door to the outside, turn left and pick open the metal door on the left. It leads to a back alley with a burrick standing at the far end. Behind the burrick, on the ground, you'll find a tiara, worth 125g. (4318).

Madame Kira's

Now, go out the tunnel at the opposite side of the square from where you entered and take the right hand turn. You'll come to a girl who is wearing a "Front Door" key. Take it and use it to open the gates straight ahead. Once inside the gates, go to the left and around the corner of the building. You'll find a window that you can unlock with the "Front door" key. Jump onto the bed and down to the floor. On the bedside table, you'll find a coin, worth 5g. (4323). Out in the hall, turn right and open the next door. This leads you into a bathroom, where you'll find a gold wine bottle, worth 50g. (4373), sitting on the edge of the tub. Go across the hall to a bedroom with a man and woman in it. There's a vase, worth 12g. (4385), on the mantle and a necklace, worth 100g. (4485), on the dresser. (This section is very tricky, because sounds carry too much. The guards outside the front door come in and attack, if the AI in here alert. It's best to just leave them alone or to walk up to the front doors and flashbomb the guards to get rid of them.) Leave and go through the red curtain at the end of the hall to the front desk area. On the shelves behind the desk, read a scroll and a letter to Leon, then pick up a vase, worth 12g. (4497), and a purple vase, worth 100g. (4597). Pick open the cash box under the counter, where you'll find the "Main" key. Go through the curtain just past the desk and into a hallway, that leads to the pool. Open the first door on the right, which leads to an office. On the wall on the far side of the desk, down by the floor, there's a light switch. Push it and a secret door opens. Go into the secret room and in the corner you'll find water arrows, moss arrows and some flashbombs, which are in a locked chest. Leave the pool area for now, because there are 2 people standing on the balcony that will see you if you enter down here.
Go back to the first room, past the counter and through the curtained doorway to the west, into a sitting area. Pick up a candlestick, worth 50g. (4647), from the mantel and, from a small table, pick up a cup, worth 25g. (4672), and a pack of cigarettes, worth 5g. (4677). Continue through the room and around the corner to the bar, where you'll find 3 gold bottles, worth 150g. (4827), 4 cups, worth 90g. (4917), and a plate, worth 10g. (4927). The door in this area leads to the kitchen, where you'll find a plate, worth 10g. (4937), in the sink, 2 more plates, worth 20g. (4957), on the shelves above the sink, a healing fruit on the cutting board, then open the cupboards above it, where you'll find an invisibility potion, a healing potion, a speed potion and 2 spice bags, worth 80g. (5037). In the small storeroom, under the stairs, you'll find a locked chest that you can pick open to find another spice bag, worth 40g. (5077), then go through the red curtain and up the stairs. There is a servant's bunkroom up here, but there doesn't seem to be anything of value. Go back down to the sitting room and up the stairs. On the upstairs railing, you'll find a dish, worth 12g. (5089), and 2 blue cups, worth 100g. (5189). Turn to the right, go in the first door to a gambling room and through the next door, to the pool balcony. (I couldn't find a way to shut off the lights, so I just knocked out the man and woman up here when they alerted.) The woman is wearing a pair of opera glasses, worth 100g. (5289), and the man is holding a gold bottle, worth 50g. (5339). Unlock the other door off of the balcony (these doors all unlock with the "Main" key.) and enter a bedroom. This is Madame Kira's private room. Pick up the two candlesticks, worth 100g. (5439), from the mantle and unlock the door out to the hallway. Unlock the door across the hall and pick a red key, labeled "Leon's Key", from the girl in the red dress. It's a little hard to see because the colors are so similar. On the floor, you'll find 2 gold wine bottles and 2 cups, worth 130g. (5569), on the mantle, a candlestick, worth 50g. (5619), and on the bedside table, a necklace, worth 100g. (5719). The second door leads out to the balcony, so just go back out to the hallway, turn right and go past the next two doors, which are bedrooms, but don't appear to have anything of value in them. The last door leads to a sitting room. In here, you'll find a gold bottle, worth 50g. (5769), a vase, worth 12g. (5781), and a plate, worth 10g. (5791). The second door leads out to another balcony. Head back out to the hallway and around the corner through the curtained doorway. There are 4 doors in here. Unlock the one to the right with the "Main" key and go in. You'll be in a large, elaborate bathing room. On the window ledge, you'll find 2 blue cups, worth 100g. (5891), and on the side of the pool, you'll find a plate, worth 10g. (5901), a healing fruit, 2 gold wine bottles, worth 100g. (6001), 2 gold cups, worth 50g. (6051), and 2 gold plates, worth 100g. (6151). Go back out the door and into the next one on the right. This is a bedroom and in here, you'll find a vase, worth 5g. (6156), on the mantel. The next door in the hall opens into a second bedroom, where you'll find a flute, worth 50g. (6206), sitting on the floor. At this point, the loot objective ticks off. On the mantle, there's a dish, worth 5g. (6211). The next door in the hallway leads into a plain bathroom, where I found nothing of value. Go back downstairs and into the pool area. Jump in the pool and search the bottom for a necklace, worth 100g. (6311), then go back to the hallway where you entered and out the end door. To the right is a locked door that wouldn't open before. It unlocks with the main key. Go through and down the stairs. At the bottom, turn right and then right again. Go into the room on the left and pick up 2 blue goblets, worth 100g. (6411), then walk back out into the hall and open the blue chest at the end, where you'll find a rope arrow. Go back past the bottom of the stairs and down the hallway to the left. In the room on the left, jump up on the bed and frob the symbol on the wall. Then go back to the stairs, walk partway up, then turn around and look at the end wall over the stairs. You'll see an open door where there used to be a banner. Rope arrow up and pick up Madame Kira's Diary", which satisfies another objective. Go back down the hallway, past the door where you pulled the symbol and into the torture room at the end. In here, you'll find 3 daggers, worth 15g. (6426), some healing potions, cigarettes, worth 5g. (6431), and a fire poker, worth 200g. (6631). Leave Madame Kira's and go back to the town square and over to the Armour shop. (I decided to have one last look around for a key and this time I found it.) Go back into the alley behind the shop and move a box that's sitting on the ground. Underneath it you'll find the door key. Go back around to the front, unlock the door and go in. In the first room, on the left, you'll see a candlestick, worth 50g. (6681), then go through the door to the sitting room. In here, you'll find a gold urn, worth 100g. (6781), then frob the red jar, on top of the armoire, to open a secret door. In the hidden gambling room, you'll find a purse, worth 100g. (6881), a small coin, worth 5g. (6886), coin stacks, worth 37g. (6923), and 2 gold bottles, worth 100g. (7023). Go back out to the first room and up the elevator to the kitchen. Here, you'll find a healing fruit, and a vase, worth 12g. (7035). Open the door and go through to the bedroom, where you'll find a candlestick, worth 50g. (7085), and a statue, worth 15g. (7100). Pick open the blue chest beside the bed, to find a pair of dice, worth 50g. (7150).

Leon's Hideout

Head back to the town square and down the well. Follow the passageway at the bottom, watching the floor for water arrows along the way, to the very end, where you'll find a necklace, worth 200g. (7350). Go back to the turnoff you just passed and up to the locked door. Open it with "Leon's Key" and go in. The objective to find Leon's hideout ticks off after you enter. Read the scroll on the table, which says the apothecary seems to know something about the Serpentile Torc. Find the kitchen, where there's a plate, worth 10g. (7360), in the sink, another plate, worth 10g. (7370), on the shelves, 3 wine bottles, worth 150g. (7520), on the counter as well as 2 spice bags, worth 80g. (7600). Go back to the sitting room and frob the candlestick on the mantle to open a secret door. Follow the tunnel behind it to a ladder, climb the ladder, push the button to open the sewer cover then listen to a conversation before you climb out.
Second Town Square:
(If you happen to have missed anything in the first area of town, go into the tunnel on the east side of the square. Frob the wall torch to open the gate.) Open the bakery doors and go in. On the counter, you'll find a coin, worth 20g. (7620), and coin stacks, worth 37g. (7657), then go through the door to a sitting room. In here, you'll find a bottle and cup, worth 75g. (7732), then go through the door to the left, which leads to the dining room. In here, you'll find a vase, worth 100g. (7832), sitting on the table and a plate, worth 10g. (7842), mounted over the mantel. Go through to the kitchen, where you'll find a spice bag, worth 40g. (7882), on the counter and a plate, worth 10g. (7892), on the shelf. The other door from the sitting room leads into a bedroom, where you'll find a cup, worth 50g. (7942), sitting on the floor. Leave the Bakery and cross the square to the Weaponsmith's. Go into the second room, climb the ladder and pick up a purse, worth 100g. (8042), sitting on the ledge above the opening and pick open the wood chest, to find a statue, worth 15g. (8057). Back down in the forge, go through the last door, to a storeroom, where you'll find 3 fire arrows and some coinstacks, worth 10g. (8067), sitting in a corner by some boxes. Leave this building and go to the machinery building next door. In the corner, you'll find coinstacks, worth 10g. (8077), and farther up, on the floor, you'll find a purse, worth 100g. (8177). Go farther down the street, past the church and pick open the double doors on the right. In the kitchen, you'll find a spice bag, worth 40g. (8217), a healing fruit, and a plate, worth 10g. (8227). Pick open the door at the end of the kitchen and you'll find yourself in a small room with a green safe and 3 gems, worth 300g. (8527), sitting on a table. Pick open the safe to find a diamond, worth 100g. (8627). Upstairs, on the desk in the bedroom, you'll find coin stacks, worth 75g. (8702). Head back out to the street and over to the gates into the cemetery, on the right. You'll find a gold urn, worth 100g. (8802), on top of a coffin and farther on, a gold hammer, worth 75g. (8877), lying on the ground. Head up the street and around to the front of the church. The first door you come to opens into a small round room, where you'll find a statue, worth 15g. (8892), in a wall niche. Outside again, go past the front doors and through the next door, which leads to a bunkroom. There is a small switch on the end of the first bunk bed (top bunk) that opens a banner at the end. In the cupboard behind it, you'll find 2 bottles, worth 100g. (8992), 2 cups, worth 50g. (9042), and a gold hammer, worth 75g. (9117). Exit this room and go into the church itself. Brother Martin, who is standing at the front, is a problem. I used a flash bomb to blind him, KOed him, then took the hammer, worth 75g.(9192), from the altar. Rope arrow up to the ceiling beam above the door and you'll find a hammer, worth 75g. (9267), and a coin, worth 20g. (9287). Then enter the "Wild Burrick", which is on the street behind the church and you walk into a trap. The mission ends.
