First, read the diary in your inventory then look around and you'll see you're in a small town. There's a set of wooden steps to the south leading up to a long balcony. Head up there and walk along to a door on the right. Inside, there's a coat hook on the wall beside the armoire in the first room. Frob it and the armoire will slide aside to reveal a hidden room full of weapons, which completes the objective to find the hidden weapons stash. The room contains 5 water arrows, 1 fire arrow, a healing potion, 4 moss arrows, 2 mines, and 2 gas arrows on the shelves. There's a flashbomb in the chest. Now that you're well equipped, go back to the other room, turn left and cross the hallway to the door opposite. Inside is a bathroom where you'll find a vase, worth 50g.

Back out in the hall, you'll find a sitting room to the north where there's a gold candlestick, worth 50g. (100), sitting on the mantel and a dining room, where you'll find another vase, worth 50g. (150), and a plate, worth 10g. (160). Down the hallway to the south, there's a door out onto a small outside balcony where you'll find 3 gold coinstacks, worth 75g.(235). Beyond the balcony door there's a set of stairs down to the lower level. At the bottom of the stairs, on the left, is a door into a small apartment. In the main room, you'll find a plate, worth 10g. (245), and a gold candlestick, worth 50g. (295). On top of the armoire, there's a turquoise vase, worth 50g. (345), and under the table beside it, there's a fine wine bottle, worth 50g. (395). In the bedroom there's a purple and gold goblet, worth 15g. (410), sitting on the bedside table. The second door from the main room takes you into an office. Look under the desk for 2 gold coinstacks, worth 50g. (460), and on the shelf of the bookcase behind the desk for 2 coins, worth 40g. (500). Leave the apartment and turn left into a small kitchen where you'll find a healing fruit, and 2 plates, worth 20g. (520), on the shelves. Look in the sink for a gold plate, worth 50g. (570).

Walk back upstairs, out the same door you entered by, down the wood steps and enter the house on the east side of the courtyard. Turn right, go down a small set of stairs and you'll see a red-curtained doorway ahead and a door on the right wall. Through the curtain is a cleaning closet where you'll find a flashbomb in a chest, and a set of stairs going up, but don't go there just yet. The door on the right wall opens into a sitting room with a second door. In here, you'll find a purple and gold goblet, worth 15g. (585), 2 gold candlesticks, worth 100g. (685), and a plate, worth 10g. (695). The other door takes you into a dining room where there's a plate, worth 10g. (705), on the table and then through to a kitchen, where there's a healing fruit, a plate, worth 10g. (715), a silver bowl, worth 90g. (805), and a gold plate, worth 50g. (855), on the countertop. In the sink, you'll find 2 water arrows. Head back to the front foyer and through the red curtained doorway on the far side to the stairs up to the second floor.

At the top of the stairs, there's a door on the right that opens into a small room with a bookcase and a painting on the wall. Frob the painting and it moves up to expose a lever. Flip it and the bookcase slides to the side and reveals a treasure room. Inside, you'll find a green rolled tapestry, worth 150g. (1005), 2 golden idols, worth 150g. (1155), 2 short black and gold vases, worth 40g. (1195), and 3 green vases, worth 60g. (1255). Across from the door to this room is another short hallway with 2 doors. The room on the right is a large bathroom, where you'll find a gold candlestick, worth 50g. (1305), a gold plate, worth 50g. (1355), a gold wine bottle, worth 50g. (1405), and a gold goblet, worth 25g. (1430). There's a necklace, worth 200g. (1630), lying in the bath water. The end room is a private sitting room, where there is a man wearing a purse, worth 100g. (1730). You'll also find a mask, worth 50g. (1780), and 2 gold candlesticks, worth 100g. (1880).

Go back outside and head south through town until you see a guard standing in front of J. Gutenborg's jewelry shop, on your left. Let yourself in and take a purse, worth 100g. (1980), from the guard patrolling inside. In the main display room, just inside the front doors, you'll find a necklace, worth 200g. (2180), a statue, worth 15g. (2195), on the shelf in the south-east corner. On the shelf in the north-east corner, there's another necklace, worth 200g. (2395), and a statue, worth 15g. (2410). There's a vase, worth 50g. (2460), 2 rings, worth 200g. (2660), and a necklace, worth 200g. (2860), sitting on the center counter. Push the button on the back of the counter to raise the glass over the display case at the side of the room. In this case, you'll find a purple and gold urn, worth 100g. (2960), a gold nugget, worth 100g. (3060), a tiara, worth 125g. (3185), and a black chest, worth 100g. (3285). Walk through the red curtain on the south wall and into a hallway. The room at the south end is an office where you'll find a blue goblet, worth 5g. (3290).

The double doors to the right (W) lead into a foyer with stairs up to the next level, 2 wooden doors, and a red curtained doorway. Take the gold candlestick, worth 50g. (3340), that is sitting on a table and then go through the curtain to a storage area under the stairs. Lying on the floor to the left of the chair, you'll find 3 coins, worth 60g. (3400). The door closest to the curtained doorway leads into the kitchen, where you'll find a bag of spice, worth 40g. (3440), in a cupboard under the counter. There's a plate, worth 10g. (3450), a fine wine bottle, worth 50g. (3500), and 2 silver goblets, worth 24g. (3524), on the shelves above the sink. The second door opens into the dining room, where you'll find a purple and gold urn, worth 100g. (3624), on the table, 2 gold candlesticks, worth 100g. (3724), on the mantel and a plate, worth 10g. (3734), mounted on the wall above the fireplace.

Upstairs, there are 2 doors on the right. The first one opens into a sitting room, where you find a gold goblet, worth 25g. (3759), a mask, worth 50g. (3809), over the mantel, a fire arrow in the fireplace and a book on the table that hints there is a valuable diamond hidden somewhere nearby. The second door leads into a bedroom where you'll find an invisibility potion inside a chest. Flip a tiny lever on the wall under the small table in the corner and the bed moves out from the wall. Behind it is concealed the particularly valuable diamond, which completes an objective.

Leave the shop, walk along the south wall of the courtyard to the first gap between the buildings and look in the snow for a diamond, worth 100g. (3909). Walk through a passageway on the north side of the square and out into another section of town. Four of the guards patrolling through this area have purses, worth 400g. (4309). This completes your loot objective of 4000g.

To the north there's a set of steps leading up to a porch with a door. Inside is a bar, where you'll find 3 gold goblets, worth 75g. (4384), 3 fine wine bottles, worth 150g. (4534), and 3 purple and gold goblets, worth 45g. (4579), on the bar counter and on the wall shelves. Underneath the counter, you'll find 2 bronze coinstacks, worth 10g. (4589), 2 silver coinstacks, worth 24g. (4613), 2 gold coinstacks, worth 50g. (4663), and a purse, worth 100g. (4763). Through the curtain to the left is the kitchen where you'll find 2 spice bags, worth 80g. (4843), a silver bowl, worth 12g. (4855), a silver goblet, worth 12g. (4867), and a plate, worth 10g. (4877). You can see through an archway on the right into a dining room with two patrons standing in it. The woman is wearing a purse, worth 100g. (4977), and on the tables, there's a bronze coinstack, worth 5g. (4982), and a purple and gold goblet, worth 15g. (4997). The door at the top of the stairs opens out onto a porch, where you'll find a gold goblet, worth 25g. (5022), and 2 gold wine bottles, worth 100g. (5122).

Leave and walk east to a set of steps up to a metal door. Move the box under the steps and pick up 2 spice bags, worth 80g. (5202), then go through the tunnel on the north side and into another courtyard. Cross to the west end and enter a grocery shop where there are 3 fine wine bottles, worth 150g. (5352), sitting on the shelves. You'll find 2 gold coinstacks, worth 50g. (5402), and a locked cash box, which holds a purse, worth 100g. (5502), on a shelf underneath the counter. Go through the door to a sitting room where there's a purple and gold goblet, worth 15g. (5517). Continue through a door to the bedroom, where there's a tiara, worth 125g. (5642), lying in the corner by the dresser.

Head back outside and over to a locked wooden door on the north side of the square. There's a note posted on the wall beside the door indicating that it is unoccupied, which makes it a perfect place to get out of the cold. Inside, under the table, you'll find 2 gold coinstacks, worth 50g. (5692). Climb the ladder and the mission ends.
