The mysterious Tower

The City

You begin in a small courtyard in town that is patrolled by several guards. You will also run across the owner of the bookstore here. Take his key then climb into the niche on the south wall and behind the plant you'll find a purse 1 X 100 (100). Next go into the small shed beside the pharmacy, pick up the plate 1 X 10 (110) that the candle is sitting on and look in the chest for 3 water arrows.

The Weapons Dealer

Continue along the street to the Weapons Shop on the right. Inside, in the chests, are broadheads and a flash bomb and on the shelves are 2 scouting orbs, 2 flash mines, 1 gas mine, 1 mine, 3 moss arrows, 6 water arrows, 4 fire arrows and 1 gas arrow. There are some valuable weapons 3 X 12 (146) hanging on the wall opposite the entrance. Look on the inner wall of the fire pit for a small switch. Flip it and the bookcase on the other wall opens. Behind it you'll pick up purses 2 X 100 (346), gold coinstacks 3 X 25 (421), silver coinstacks 2 X 12 (445), copper coinstacks 2 X 5 (455) and coins 2 X 20 (495). That's it for here, so go back outside.

The Pharmacy

Turn left and cross to the Pharmacy. Pick open the door, go in and take a purse 1 X 100 (595) from the cashbox on the shelf. Go through the door to the office, upstairs and into the first room. Here in the sitting room you'll find a gold goblet 1 X 25 (620) on the table and under the chair there's a ring 1 X 100 (720). The next room is a bedroom where you'll see a gold candlestick 1 X 50 (770) on the window sill. Pick open the door at the end of the hall, go through the red curtain and climb the ladder to the guards' bedroom. On the table is a copper coinstack 1 X 5 (775) and a coin 1 X 20 (795). Frob the lute to open the wall banner and behind it is a secret room. In here you'll pick up a mask 1 X 50 (845), assorted artifacts 2 X 150 (1145), 2 X 20 (1185), a gold statue 1 X 75 (1260) and a silver fire poker 1 X 200 (1460). One of the chests contains a coin 1 X 5 (1465) and the other one holds the Antique Navigational Globe. Head back downstairs to the shop and go through the red curtained doorway into the lab. There's a vase 1 X 50 (1515) on the ledge to the left and on the shelves there's an invisibility potion, an healing potion, a slow-fall potion and a speed potion. Continue through the next curtain and open the cellar door with your lockpicks. At the bottom of the stairs on the floor between the two casks there are some coins 2 X 20 (1555). Under the table is a goblet 1 X 15 (1570) and on the table there's a fine wine bottle 1 X 50 (1620). Go into the small cellar room where you'll find 3 rope arrows in the chest. Back in the other room move the boxes that are piled underneath the stairs.

The Sewer

Behind the boxes is a hole in the wall that takes you into the sewer. Jump into the water and turn to the right. Follow the sewer and take the first turn to the right then the next turn to the left. Follow this tunnel to a metal door on the left. The key to this door is lying in the water behind the gate to the right. Pick it up, unlock the door and enter. Climb up the ladder into a small room where there are some coins 2 X 20 (1660) hidden under the bedroll and a tiara on the center ceiling beam. Underneath the broken chair, there's an invisibility potion. Return to the sewer, walk back to the corner and turn left to a ladder. climb it and you'll see 2 switches that open the 2 gates in the sewers. Climb back down.

Lord Hafner's

At the bottom of the ladder, turn left towards the frogs then left again at the end of the tunnel. On the wall there's a torch switch. Frob it and the wall at the end of the tunnel slides open, giving you access to Lord Hafner's. Inside, check the guard for a purse 1 X 100 (1885). There's a vase 1 X 5 (1890) sitting on the table in the small room at the bottom of the stairs. Through the first door is the kitchen. In the pail are some water arrows and on the shelf there are spice bags 2 X 40 (1970), a plate 1 X 10 (1980), a goblet 1 X 15 (1995) and a gold goblet 1 X 25 ( 2020 ). At the top of the stairs is the bedroom where there's a ring 1 X 100 (2120) and a goblet 1 X 15 (2135) sitting on the table beside the house key. Through the door is the sitting room. There's a gold plate 1 X 50 (2185) and a teapot 1 X 5 (2190) sitting on the table here. On the small balcony above this room you'll find a fine wine bottle 1 X 50 (2240) and a goblet 1 X 15 (2255) sitting on the floor beside the arm chair. Use a rope arrow to climb up to the ceiling beams and frob a small switch in the middle. This slides the painting on the wall downstairs aside and behind it you'll find Lord Hafner's Precious Bracelet. Return to the sewers and walk back past the ladder right down to the far end of the tunnel and then turn left.

The Church of the Hammerites

Climb the ladder at the end and you're now in the church. Open the door with your lockpicks and watch out for the Hammerites. Cross to the room opposite, fire a rope arrow into the beam and climb up to find a bottle of fine wine 1 X 50 (2305). Out in the main section of the church, there are 2 gold candlesticks 2 X 50 (2405) and a gold hammer 1 X 75 (2480) sitting on the altar. Look on the back of the last pew on the north side of the church for a switch. Frob it to open the window and behind it is a healing fountain. There are some coins 2 X 20 (2520) lying on one of the pews in this area as well. Cross to the south side of the church and go through the door and into a small hallway. The door on the right leads into the guards' barracks. In the footlocker are water arrows and beside the bunk bed on the right there's a coin 1 X 20 (2540) and a copper coinstack 1 X 5 (2545). The door across from the one you entered by is the High Priest's room. On the window sill over the desk there's a hammer. Frob it to open the banner on the far wall. In the cupboard behind it is the key to the Hammerites' Crypt. On the other window sill there's a bottle of holy water and on top of the armoire is a gold candlestick 1 X 50 (2595).

The Hammerites' Crypt

The last door in the hallway, the one with the skull above it, unlocks with the Crypt key. Walk down the stairs and under the candle sitting beside the statue is a plate 1 X 10 (2605). In the next room,look behind the coffin on the left for a jar 1 X 20 ( 2625 ), and on top of it for a ring 1 X 100 (2725) and a tiara 1 X 125 (2850). Continue on and in the brazier in the next room you'll find a fire arrow. Walk up the steps into the next room. To the left, beside the chest, there's a jar 1 X 20 (2870) and a rolled tapestry 1 X 150 (3020). Inside the chest is another jar 1 X 20 (3040). There's an artifact 1 X 25 (3065) on top of the coffin opposite the chest and a plate 1 X 10 (3075) underneath the candle that sits beside the statue that is just past the chest. In the coffin at the end of the hall, there's a flash bomb. Go through the passageway to a chamber occupied by an un-dead spider. Beside the coffin there's a jar 1 X 20 (3095). Continue on through the room with the big hammer statue surrounded by skulls and into the next room. There's a gold nugget 1 x 100 (3195) lying beside the upper left-hand coffin. There's another fire arrow in the brazier at the far end. Turn right into the next passagewaay and there's a haunt standing on the left. Beside him there's an artifact 1 X 150 (3345)and a gold coptic jar 1 X 75 (3420). On the wall to his left, there's a statue with a torch switch on the wall beside it. Frob the torch and the statue will move aside. Underneath it is a necklace 1 X 200 (3620).

The Tower

Return to the room with the big hammer statue and frob one of the skulls to open a secret door. Enter the hallway behind it and climb the ladder at the far end up into the tower. Climb the next ladder to the top of the tower and take the Hammerites' Stone. Retrace your steps to the church, go back down into the sewers and climb the ladder to the room with the two switches. Use the key lying on the floor under the table to unlock the door and go out into the street.

The Graveyard

Turn right and just past the archway on the left is a small piece of wood beam that protrudes from the wall. Shoot a rope arrow into it, climb up and go into the doorway on the left. Inside the chest is a flash bomb, climb down the ladder and look inside the toolbox for a diamond drill 1 X 250 (3870). Flip the switch on the wall to open the gate and go back to the street. To the left is the archway into the Church courtyard so take care not to be spotted by the guards patrolling there. Go through the archway and steal the purse 1 X 100 (3970) worn by the archer to the left. One of the patrolling Hammerites is wearing the cemetery key. Climb the wood stairs in the northwest corner of the courtyard and look on the ledge for some coins 2 X 20 (4010). Walk down beside the church to the graveyard gates, unlock them with the key and enter. There's a gold hammer 1 X 75 (4085) lying on the ground in front of the headstone just past the statue. Walk along the back wall of the church and there's a fine wine bottle 1 X 50 (4135) sitting on the last window ledge. Cross to the mausoleum, frob the torch and a doorway opens in the north wall of the graveyard. Go through and you'll be outside the base of the tower. There are moss arrows in one of the plants and a gold nugget 1 X 100 (4235) in another. Leave the church grounds and go back to the street.

The Book Shop

Turn left to the book shop and unlock the door with the bookseller's key. Go into the room on the left and look on the ledge to the left of the wall torch for a ring 1 X 100 (4335) (It's high so you'll need to use a rope arrow.) Cross the foyer to the other room and look in the cash box for a purse 1 X 100 (4435). A globe 1 X 25 (4460) is sitting on the shelf. Go through the red curtain and into a small hallway. The first room on the right is the kitchen where you'll find a plate 1 X 10 (4470) on the shelf and a dish 1 X 10 (4480) in the sink. The next room is the bedroom and here, there's a serpentile torc 1 X 350 (4830) hidden on top of the bed canopy. The last room is the sitting room where you'll find a gold plate 1 X 50 (4880) and a goblet 1 X 15 (4895) sitting on the table. Near the window is a clothes hook. Frob it to open a secret hiding place where you'll find a book 1 X 100 (4995). Leave the booksellers, turn left and walk along the street to the house with the wood balcony. Open the door and go into the kitchen. There are 2 plates 2 X 10 ( 5015 ), 2 vases 2 X 50 (5115), a teapot 1 X 5 (5120), 1 gold plate 1 X 50 (5170), 2 gold goblets 2 X 25 (5220), 2 fine wine bottles 2 X 50 (5320) and 2 goblets 2 X 15 (5350). In the sink there's a healing fruit. In the sitting room there's a goblet 1 X 15 ( 5365 ) on the table. Head upstairs and look on the wood handrail for a vase 1 X 50 ( 5415 ). In the nursery, check behind the cradle for a pair of dice 1 X 50 (5465). Through the door on the left is a balcony where an archer stands. He's wearing a purse 1 X 100 (5565). The last door opens into the bedroom where you'll find a gem 1 X 100 (5665) in the chest and a coin 1 X 20 (5685) on the window sill.

The Pub

Leave this house and continue along the street. Turn left at the corner, go past the Pub door and up the wood stairs. Open the door with your lockpicks. If you want to finish the mission now, take the door to your left. If you would prefer to get the rest of loot go down the stairs. You can hear the City guards partying. Creep under the stairs to find fine wine bottles 4 X 50 (5885) and look on the shelf behind the counter for goblets 2 X 15 (5915) and a fine wine bottle 1 X 50 (5965). On the floor beside the counter there's another fine wine bottle 1 X 50 (6015) and one of the drunks has a purse 1 X 100 (6115). In the side room there's a wine bottle lying under the table to the left 1 X 50 (6165). Now you've got it all, so go back upstairs and into the guest room.
